This website privacy statement sets out how the Transport Portfolio collects, uses, and discloses information collected through the www.circlezero.wa.gov.au website.

This privacy statement does not apply to external websites that are linked on the CircleZero website. Neither the Transport Portfolio nor the Western Australian Government are responsible for, endorse, or otherwise approve, the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites that are linked on the CircleZero website. If you follow a link to another website from the CircleZero website, we recommend that you read the privacy statement or policy of that other website to understand what it does with your information.

Information that we might collect

  2. Crazy Egg
    Crazy Egg is a heatmapping and A/B testing tool which identifies user behaviour on the website.
  3. Google Analytics
    Google Analytics collects statistical information about user behaviour on the website.
  4. Survey Monkey
    Survey Monkey is used to facilitate anonymous surveys and quizzes on the website.
  5. Campaign Monitor
    Campaign Monitor is an email campaign tool for sending newsletters, updates and information.
  6. Jotforms
    Jotforms is an application which powers online forms on the website.
  7. Meta Business Tools and Pixel
    Meta Business tools collect information about user behaviour on the website.
Via Analytics

We use the information collected about how you use the CircleZero website and how the website performs during your visit for statistical and system administration purposes. We do this to help:

  • monitor and understand usage trends to make sure the CircleZero website is meeting the needs of its users;
  • understand and enhance your experience of the CircleZero website (for example, to improve content or make performance improvements);
  • monitor and protect the CircleZero website from cyber security threats.

We do not use this information to identify you or match it with any other personal information we collect from you.

Via Meta Pixel

We use the Meta web pixel to alert Meta that a ‘conversion’ is completed. A conversion is a record of a type of action that you have taken on the CircleZero website. We use this information to:

  • Deliver relevant website content to you and measure or understand the effectiveness of the advertising we serve to you.
  • Use data analytics to improve and enhance our existing products, services, and applications, and develop new offerings, recommendations, advertisements, and other communications.
